The project will produce a TV show in the “interview” format with Marko Filipović (project manager – PwD), in cooperation with local television “Kursumlija”. The location of the shooting is the office of the Organization of people with disabilities of Kursumlija, 6 Kost Vojinovica Street in Kursumlija..Video and audio will be available on the You Tube channel.

At the beginning and end of the video clip produced, information screens will be displayed with all the necessary visibility elements and disclaimer text.

Interview with Marko Filipovic, project manager-Pwd on the project “Activate for more opportunities”. The project is funded by the EU, and co-financed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, through a grant scheme “Supporting the European Union for Active Youth Engagement.

The answer:

Hello everyone who watches this show. I’m Marko Filipovic, project manager on the project activate for more opportunities and person with disibilities. A sense of belonging                        and involvement in the community, the business environment and flows is one of the               most important things to me. Feeling involved is an extremely important thing for me.                    The colleagues   I work with give me support and boost my confidence. When we work together                          on a project and achieve a good result, that quality and good feeling  are simply invaluable.              It is also a very  nice feeling, when I can share my knowledge and help other                            people with disabilities get involved equally and be members of the community.

  1. How important is employment?

The answer:

Employment like any other person provides for existence, but to me as a person with disibilities it is more than that, that I am worthy to be useful and to be respected is more important to me than anything. That is why, in the employment process, community support is crucial.

  1. How important is the support of the colleagues you work with?

The answer:

A comfortable work environment is very important to me. The support of my colleagues I work with is of the utmost importance to me so that I cannot easily fulfil my tasks. That feeling on the team that you are empowered and supportive of others is extremely good.

  1. What do you say to job seekers with disabilities?

The answer:

Don’t sit at home and wait for the job to come to you, with a little hard work everyone can find a job. Knock on every door and don’t give up. Get active, get a job, be an equal member of the community, because life is a constant struggle.
