Social skills / competency development program
The program (Practicum) is intended for users in the project. The program enables the acquisition of crosscutting skills and abilities (intercultural understanding, teamwork, communication, initiative, problem solving, decision making, networking, flexibility, etc.) that are necessary for successful work, but also to gain a competitive advantage attractive to future employers or business partners. It needs to be designed to help them learn the most sought after skills more effectively to help them find and successfully recruit. The program is a great way to improve the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their schooling. The ability to adapt to change, successful communication and good interpersonal relationships enable better functioning in the work environment, and safely provide job search assistance.
Program for further work practice
To include all relevant information related to the employment of persons with disabilities used by institutions, the private sector and other potential employers and to define activities related to social inclusion in the municipality of Kursumlija.
The program for further work practices will develop both the position and define the support of other vulnerable groups, enable employment and job creation for vulnerable groups will be designed based on project experiences. Opportunities to expand services in a similar way in other municipalities.
People with disabilities will be able to have long-term access to the labor market and on a long-term basis to improve the skills required.
Local institutions involved in the project will provide sustainable program activities related to social inclusion and employment support for people with disabilities. The business sector and representatives of local public institutions will be informed about the employment of persons with disabilities opportunities and incentives.
This activity includes the development and distribution of programs for future work practices. Based on the results of the internships, the Program for Further Internships for Unemployed Persons with Disabilities will be developed and distributed. The program will contain all the necessary information related to the employment of persons with disabilities, which means: information regarding the legal framework, available subsidies for the employment of persons with disabilities, specific requirements, as well as project experience related to the engagement of persons with disabilities in work practices and improvements are being hired, steps are being taken to establish cooperation with the Center for Social Work and the national employment services in Kursumlija.
